A very long and involving Magento 1.3 > Magento 1.6 was done recently. Lots of work required to keep everything ticking and error free. I have a feeling when Magento 2.0 releases it’s going to be 1.3 > 1.4 all over again.

How I dislike hosting sometimes!
After a fortnight of down time thanks to a combination of bad DNS records and terrible hosting providings, we are finally back up and running.
Time for a new host, any suggestions?

Busy Busy!
That’s what I am. Busy.
Another year has turned by and I haven’t even updated any of this!
After falling into the working routine of bed work sleep, bed work sleep, I’ve not really had any time to do any of my personal projects, including this blog.
Managed to sneak a few minutes of a lunch time break to keep this site ticking and to edit a few things behind the scenes.
But apart from that, just been busy at work designing sites like Cast Fireplaces amongst others!

A clean slate
This site has gone through a number of iterations in the last 10 years. Hopefully this change will be the most significant as I actually plan on being productive this time around and actually turning this website into something meaningful.
The title of the website is currently Web Design and Web Development. What I do for a living basically. From Basic CMS websites to full blown e-commerce packages including Magento, Prestashop, Cubecart, yadda yadda. I’m not 100% sure if that’s what the focus of this blog will be on as I have other interests as well, but ye, we’ll see. I’ve waited 10 years as I said before to start something up here, so another week or 2 won’t be too significant whilst deciding.
